Rvdb Insights: Why a People-Centered Approach to Organization Is a Never-Ending Process at Tilburg University

In a work environment where HX is central, people-centered organization is not a final destination or a set formula, but something that organizations must shape anew every day. In this episode, we’ll be talking with our colleague Sven Hogervorst and professors Karina van de Voorde and Keri Pekaar from Tilburg University about what that means in practice. Through their Employee Experience Hub—a research and knowledge platform where science and practice converge around employee experience—they explore how organizations can create sustainable value for employees in addition to economic value. Central to this is the EX Management Model, which illustrates how policy, leadership, and daily interactions collectively shape the employee experience. We discuss why good intentions alone aren’t enough, how the employee experience is shaped by small, everyday moments, and what tensions organizations face when performance, well-being, personalization, and fairness clash. An episode packed with information! Enjoy the episode!
