At Rvdb we believe that people can make their greatest positive contribution if their needs as human beings are truly met. This means that we look beyond the function or role, and focus on their full humanity. It is about being curious about each other, wondering together and trusting. That is the core of Human Experience (HX) at Rvdb.
What does that mean specifically? That we not only look at the position you hold, but above all at you as a person. You are more than just an employee: you may be an early 7:30 a.m. starter, a hobby tennis player, a pasta lover and an Eindhoven native. And just as likely, your employer is a parent with broken nights, an evening touch-up worker, a hobby cyclist or someone who loves a long vacation. We are all people with unique needs, and it is precisely by embracing those differences that we can make the greatest impact together.
In conversations with colleagues, three themes that are meaningful to everyone keep recurring: Development, Connection and Vitality. These three not only form the basis of our terms of employment, but are deliberately linked and completed with each other.
At Rvdb we offer plenty of room for growth, for example through our School of HX. We use the 70-20-10 learning principle: learning from training (10%), from each other (20%) and especially on the job (70%). Everyone gets a personal budget for training. And because we trust in everyone’s growth, our salary steps are fixed and not dependent on complicated assessments. That gives peace and security, and a real focus on development.
Connection at Rvdb is more than conviviality in the office. It is about relationships with colleagues, clients and the world around us. Our offices are meeting places, where we inspire and strengthen each other. But we also facilitate hybrid or remote working. We also encourage sustainable behavior. Volunteer days and a focus on environmental awareness also make connection concrete outside our organization.
Good mental and physical health is crucial for your development and enjoyment of work. That’s why we offer extensive vitality opportunities, such as a vitality budget and access to OpenUp for mental support. We also encourage flexibility with opportunities for remote working and unpaid leave. We have many young parents on our team and know how intense that period can be. That’s why we supplement paid leave up to 100% salary so you can take care of your family in peace.
HX requires a culture of trust, curiosity and attention. That is why we ensure that these themes are consistently reflected in various places in the organization: on posters in the toilets, in newsletters, in conversations with managers, during events and in our digital workplace within Microsoft365. In this way we ensure that these topics remain lively and are truly part of our daily practice. And we create an environment that is credible, energetic and human. Bye bye Human Resources, Hello Human Experience.
