Business Case \u2013 Fillip Studios<\/em><\/div>

The Challenge<\/b><\/h3>

Fillip Studios is an ambitious and growing design studio in Arnhem. The growth they are experiencing brings not only opportunities but also new challenges related to collaboration, culture, and organizational structure\u2014issues that every growing organization faces sooner or later. <\/p>

As Tom Kortbeek, Creative Director at Fillip Studios, puts it:\u201cFillip Studios has grown rapidly, and that has had an impact on how we work together, our culture, and our organization.\u201d<\/p>

Based on their mission\u2014 impact through wonder<\/em> \u2014the need arose to take a fresh look at how employees can thrive, what kind of leadership is required to support that, and what that demands of the organization.<\/p>

The central question:How do we develop a clear vision for our role as an employer that aligns with our growth and ambition?<\/em><\/p>

The Approach<\/b><\/h3>

Rvdb Consultancy guided Fillip Studios through the HX Vision & Roadmap<\/strong>.<\/p>

The process began with the HX Scan<\/strong>, which provided insight into how employees actually perceive the organization. This analysis served as an important foundation for the next steps. <\/p>

In interactive workshops, we worked with the management team on:<\/p>

  • exploring different perspectives on being an employer<\/li>
  • focusing on what really matters to Fillip Studios<\/li>
  • Aligning vision, culture, and organizational structure<\/li><\/ul>
    <\/div>
    \u201cRvdb helped us most of all by having a candid discussion with us about what we truly value as an employer.\u201d<\/div>


    The insights from the HX scan and the workshops were translated into a concrete vision for employer branding. This was then developed into a practical roadmap to apply this vision to the themes that are important to Fillip Studios. By setting clear priorities within a timeline, Fillip Studios was also able to show its employees that their input and feedback had been heard, and that action was being taken on issues the organization deemed important. <\/p>

    The Impact<\/b><\/h3>

    The process not only confirmed to Fillip Studios that they are on the right track, but also provided direction for the coming period as they continue to professionalize the organization.<\/p>

    \u201cIt\u2019s great to have the words and numbers to back up the fact that people really enjoy working here.\u201d<\/p>

    By combining both data and dialogue, the following emerged:<\/p>

    • clarity on where the organization stands now<\/li>
    • a clear focus on what matters for the future<\/li>
    • specific priorities for further development<\/li><\/ul>


      The roadmap provides a framework for taking the next step in the organization\u2019s internal professionalization, while preserving the culture and atmosphere at Fillip Studios\u2014something that the HX scan clearly identified as one of the organization\u2019s strengths.<\/p>

      The Collaboration<\/b><\/h3>

      The approach was structured in such a way that, through the working sessions, we quickly gained clarity on what Fillip Studios stands for, what its ambitions are, and how it views itself as an employer. Openness and reflection were two elements that added a great deal of depth\u2014which ultimately led to a roadmap that closely aligned with the organization\u2019s needs. <\/p>

      The collaboration with Rvdb was seen as both personal and substantively strong.<\/p>

      Outlook<\/b><\/h3>

      With a clear vision and a concrete roadmap, Fillip Studios is looking ahead to the next phase: further professionalizing its internal organization\u2014one in which employees can thrive and that, at the same time, evolves in step with Fillip Studios\u2019 growth and ambition.<\/p>

      For Fillip Studios, Rvdb will continue to work on translating their vision of employer practices into day-to-day operations\u2014starting with a career framework and development paths for the organization.<\/p>
