For the global Human Resources department of Dümmen Orange based in De Lier, the Netherlands, we are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist. You develop, implement and execute compensation and benefit programs that align rewards with organisational goals. You manage the global HRIS program and policies involving research, analyses, development of modifications to global compensation and benefit programs to meet organization objectives and needs. 

as Compensation & Benefits Specialist you have the following responsibilities:
  • Support the design and implementation of a global HRIS system, including drafting the HR global framework and tools and the compliance with design principles, internal policies and external legal requirements;
  • deliver the annual pay & benefits review including providing relevant payroll, market pay, employee engagement analysis and insights. Provide the general guideline to salary adjustment percentage range according to Company/Regional financial performance, market trend/CPI;
  • design the Compensation & Benefits program, including the design and delivery of employee salary structures and benefit programs. Provide financial, market and legal analysis and insights;
  • design and implement a transparent international assignment policy.

For the near future:

  • HR Data Management including carry out complex HR data processing tasks and advise colleagues when needed and use expertise to help improve data collection tools and administration processes;
  • design and deliver job analysis and job evaluation processes.
  • deliver complex analysis of global HR data, including identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues. Coordinate global employee engagement survey.

You report to the global CHRO.

As Compensation & Benefits Specialist you are part of the global HR Team which consists of 5 HR Managers (each region has its own manager) and the CHRO. You are located in De Lier near to The Hague and Rotterdam. A total of 450 employees are located in the Netherlands.

this is what you will bring to the role of Compensation & Benefits Specialist:
  • Bachelor or Master degree preferably in HR or Finance;
  • relevant working experience within Compensation & Benefits, over a span of 5 years or more;
  • excellent understanding of global Compensation & Benefits and excellent financial acumen;
  • fluency in written and verbal English;
  • strong social skills and connects easily with other people, decisive and able to deal with a diverse international population;
  • analytical and critical problem-solving thinking;
  • drive for improvements, motivated by rapidly changing organizations and able to work independently within a global matrix organization;
  • quickly shift between and balance priorities of operational, tactical and strategic topics.
